There are three Ingredients to an Alpha Course
No 1 CONNECT
We meet in the Church Building in a socially distanced setting. This is a face to face meeting.
We relax with refreshments and some cakes and get to know one another. Once the groups have been running a few weeks there is a growing friendship with one another. Catching up and sharing news becomes the major part of this first part of each week.
Alpha is an opportunity to explore life’s big questions together in an open, informal environment.
No 2 WATCH
The episodes unpack the basics of the Christian faith, addressing questions such as Who is Jesus?, How can we have faith? and How does God guide us?
No 3 DISCUSS
Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to spark conversation which will be guided by hosts and helpers from your host church.
Warsash United Reformed Church is hosting an ALPHA Course which will run on Monday evenings starting Mon 6th Sept 7:30 – 9:00 pm. You are free to come along on the night and join in even if the course has started. It is never too late. If you have any questions please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org or call Brian on 01489 584317.
